Beacon Granger Health & Fitness Solar

Beacon partnered with K2 Power Solutions on the development of a 368 kW-DC / 300 kW-AC roof-mounted solar array, now one of the largest rooftop solar installations in Mishawaka. The system utilizes 640 high-efficiency solar modules and generates approximately 476 MWh of clean electricity annually. By leveraging existing rooftop space, Beacon avoided the need for additional land while significantly reducing operating costs and long-term exposure to rising utility rates. The system offsets an estimated 287 metric tons of CO₂ emissions each year, equivalent to removing 60 cars from the road or offsetting approximately 200,000 gallons of gasoline, demonstrating both strong financial performance and meaningful environmental impact.
The Opportunity
Beacon had a goal of reducing their cost of electricity while also providing clean renewable energy from a roof mounted solar array.
The Solution
K2 worked closely with Beacon to design, engineer, and construct the solar array.
